Terms of Service

“Shotframe” means the website and related services that enable discovery and booking of studios and production spaces.

“User” means any person who visits, registers, books, lists, or otherwise interacts with Shotframe.

“Host” means a user who lists a studio or space on Shotframe.

“Booking” means a reservation of a studio space for a defined time and price, confirmed in the platform.

1.1. Interpreting these Terms

Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. “Including” means “including without limitation.”

1.1.1. Changes in meaning

We may update definitions to reflect product evolution. Updated terms apply from the “Effective” date shown above.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and book studios.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

2.1. Accurate information

Provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. We may suspend accounts associated with fraud, misrepresentation, or unsafe conduct.

2.2. Security obligations

Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. For security, avoid sharing passwords and enable device-level protections.

Booking prices, fees, taxes, and available time slots are displayed at checkout. A booking is not confirmed until the platform indicates confirmation.

Hosts set their own rates and house rules. Shotframe may charge service fees that will be disclosed prior to payment.

3.1. Authorization and chargebacks

By submitting payment, you authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge the total amount. Improper chargebacks may result in account limitation.

3.2. Promotions

Promotional codes have conditions (expiration dates, minimum spend, restrictions). We can modify or cancel promotions where allowed by law.

Cancellation policies vary by studio listing and are shown before you book. Always review the policy and house rules before confirming.

Refund eligibility depends on the listing policy, timing of cancellation, and any applicable platform fees.

4.1. Host cancellations

If a Host cancels, we may help you rebook or assist with refunds depending on circumstances and payment method constraints.

4.2. Disputes

Contact support within 48 hours of the scheduled booking end time for time-sensitive issues (e.g., access problems) so we can investigate promptly.

You agree not to misuse the platform. This includes attempts to disrupt services, access accounts without authorization, or circumvent fees.

5.1. Prohibited content

Do not post unlawful, deceptive, hateful, or infringing content. Do not upload content that violates privacy or publicity rights.

5.2. Safety and compliance

Comply with local laws, studio rules, and safety requirements. You must obtain permits or releases when required for your production.

5.2.1. Noise and neighbors

Respect neighbors and building policies. Excessive noise, smoke, strobe effects, or blocking access areas may be grounds for immediate termination of a booking.

You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant Shotframe a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it to operate the service.

Shotframe and its branding are protected by intellectual property laws. Do not use our trademarks without prior written consent.

6.1. Copyright claims

If you believe content infringes your rights, send a notice to [email protected] including sufficient information for us to identify and evaluate the claim.

The platform may integrate with third-party services (e.g., payment processors). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services.

We are not responsible for third-party acts or omissions. Accessing third-party services is at your own risk.

Shotframe is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that listings are accurate in all respects.

Hosts are responsible for their studios, rules, and representations. You are responsible for evaluating suitability for your project.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shotframe will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to Shotframe for the relevant booking, unless law requires otherwise.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shotframe from claims arising out of your use, violation of these Terms, or infringement of rights.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or engaged in unlawful behavior.

Termination does not limit other remedies we may have. Some sections (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability) survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Shotframe is established, excluding conflict-of-law provisions, except where consumer law provides otherwise.

12.1. Informal resolution

Before formal proceedings, contact us to attempt informal resolution at [email protected].

We use local storage and similar browser features to remember your preferences (e.g., light/dark theme) and to provide basic usability.

In this demo implementation, optional categories (analytics/marketing) are stored as preferences only and do not activate third-party tracking scripts.
